Using Subgraph Studio on Polygon or BNB? Ormi is a High-Performance Option
Subgraph Studio is ending support for Polygon and BNB and moving to The Graph Network on October 8. For devs that need unlimited queries, predictable pricing, or high-performance hosted subgraphs, Ormi is another option.
The Graph Foundation is moving Polygon and BNB Smart Chain query traffic out of Subgraph Studio’s staging environment on October 8. Studio will remain available for managing and publishing subgraphs, but subgraphs currently served only through the staging environment will need to be published to The Graph Network and moved to a Gateway endpoint.
The Graph has the full details in its announcement.
If The Graph Network performance has been sufficient, then continuing to publish there is the straightforward choice.
But if your subgraph needs unlimited queries, more throughput, or a hosted environment with predictable pricing, Ormi is the number one option.
$75 per subgraph, unlimited queries, highest RPS in the industry
Ormi charges $0.10 per subgraph hour, capped at $75 per month.
There is no per-query charge and no query limit.
For subgraphs sitting behind a trading app, frontend, analytics product, bot, or API, this removes the need to plan around query volume or worry about usage increasing the bill.
Need more performance?
Some subgraphs need more than unlimited queries.
For higher-throughput workloads, Ormi offers dedicated environments built for sustained production traffic. Our infrastructure supports sub-30 ms query latency at 1,000 QPS, with burst capacity above 4,000 QPS.
The existing subgraph does not need to be rewritten. Ormi is Graph-compatible, so the same schema, mappings, and GraphQL queries can be migrated over in a single click in less than 3 minutes.
Migrate with the IPFS hash
Moving an existing subgraph to Ormi does not require rebuilding it from source.
Copy the deployment’s IPFS hash, paste it into Ormi, select Polygon or BNB, and deploy. Ormi takes care of syncing it and provides a new GraphQL endpoint once it is ready.
See the migration guide over here.
The Graph Network remains the natural choice for teams that want decentralized indexing.
For teams looking for a hosted setup with unlimited queries, predictable pricing, or higher sustained performance, Ormi is available on Polygon, BNB, and 70+ other networks.
